What is a 'Walk 4 Water'?
A Walk 4 Water is a one-day fundraising event centered around a 3 - 4 mile course which symbolizes the average distance traveled by young children and women in search of water. Walk 4 Water events are held throughout the year and across the nation.
Where do Walk 4 Water funds go?

The funds raised at Walk 4 Water events help finance the work of Water 4 Kids International. All funds go towards the cost of drilling deep water wells, called boreholes. This also includes hygiene education for all villagers benefitting from this new source of clean and safe water. This also includes borehole maintenance, which keeps wells pumping for upwards of 30 years.

W4KI builds new boreholes with every $10,500.00 raised by a Walk 4 Water event. And each borehole can benefit up to 10,000 people. This means it only takes 100 walkers, raising only $105.00 each, to restore health and save lives, impacting thousands of children and entire communities.
